Tony put batteries in the Fisher Price nativity set. Madelyn made it play the song it plays. Alyson got really excited, and cheered, "Oh! There it goes!"

Alyson had mixed her corn into her sweet potato casserole during dinner. That got us all talking about weird food combinations.

Toddlers say the strangest things. As I was saying good night to Alyson:

Alyson: You're a silly little pickle!
Me: Oh really?
Alyson: And I'm a silly little pickle! And Madelyn is a silly little pickle! And Daddy is a silly little pickle!

This morning, Tony lifted Alyson up and had "Super Alyson" flying around. When he put her down, she exclaimed, "That was funtastic!"

While eating her pumpkin pie for dessert, Alyson told me, "You make the best pumpkin pie I never did seen."
