27 March 2015

At the last minute, I had to take Alyson to the pediatrician today for an eye infection. While we were waiting for the doctor, she was being silly. We were waiting in the exam room that has a train and train station theme.

First, we started saying our ABCs together after she pointed out the "ABCs" on the train station sign. Alyson's version was:

"A, B, C, D, E, F, G. Next time won't you sing with me."

Then, she was standing up on the exam table, which is the train. Picture the train as an your classic steam locomotive. She leaned over the back of the locomotive where the conductor would be and yelled to the imaginary person inside/behind the train:

"Hello? Medicine please!"

At least she understood why we went to see the doctor.
