When Madelyn got her award at the Healthy Kids Running Series today:Coordinator (paraphrased): And now we have our spirit award. This award goes to one of our pre-K runners who always helped her little sister at the start line while her parents were busy helping as volunteers. She always is excited to race and is ready to go. The award goes to Madelyn Downs!
Madelyn got up to get her award, and like a good little sister, Alyson got up with her and followed her to the front of the group of kids.
