This morning I was telling Alyson the plan for the day.

Me: Madelyn's birthday party is this afternoon.
Alyson, confused: I thought Madelyn's birthday was yesterday.

Second

During lunch, we were talking about punishments for some reason. I don't remember how we got on the topic.

Me, teasing Alyson: Do you need to be punished?
Alyson: No, I don't need to be punished! ...I don't actually know what that means.
