As usual, Alyson was being stubborn about her putting on her coat when I came to pick her up.
Me: Put on your coat, Alyson.
Alyson, looking around but purposefully not looking at her coat: Where is my coat? I don't see it.
Me: It's right in front of you, and you know it.
Alyson, reaching for her sunglasses: Oh! Here's my coat!
Me: You silly goose. Those are your sunglasses! They won't keep you warm.
Alyson, after tucking her sunglasses under her chin: I'm so warm!
