I was in the kitchen fixing dinner. Madelyn was in the living room coloring, and Alyson was in the living room cleaning up some toys she had been playing with. Alyson asked Madelyn for help with something.
Madelyn: See if Mommy will help you.
Alyson: But Mommy is busy fixing dinner.
(She did end up coming in and asking me for help, and I helped her close up the Mr. Potato Head container.)
